When I first met Jenna and Jesse, I knew that they were going to be a fun couple. They wanted an April Fools Wedding, so the guests were in for a surprise come the ceremony time! The love these two share is undeniable and contagious – everyone had such a great time celebrating their union!

The couple’s faces are always lit with perfect smiles, their eyes twinkling with happiness and adventure. They look like they were born to be together in that moment–and they were! But sometimes we need more than just those beautiful moments captured on film; sometimes we need candidness in our photographs as well.

We wanted our wedding day to feel like an extension of our everyday lives: fun, relaxed and comfortable. So when it came time for photos at Annabel’s Bar in Highland Square, before the ceremony began, a few games of Pinball had to happen at their favorite bar! With Punk Stickers all on the walls, and the pinball machines whirling away, the anticipation of Jesse seeing Jenna for the first time eased a bit away!

The ceremony was held at a renovated barn situated at the Valley View Area of Cascade Valley Metro Park in Summit Metro Park. The venue is an 1800s-era barn that has been restored to glory and then some, with modern touches like chandeliers and hardwood ceilings that make it feel like homey and elegant all at once. It overlooks a restored section of the Cuyahoga River with breathtaking vistas Valley View offers. Stroll

Want to know the best part of the day? They had ELVIS to officiate their April Fools Wedding.

This was not your typical wedding ceremony for sure! Instead of the traditional white gown and tuxedo, Jenna made her own dress and Jesse had the coolest Star Trek Pin on the lapel of his suit (with skulls in the inside!). The couple exchanged intimate vows with friends and family surrounding them. And Jesse even got behind the bar to pour himself a tall glass of the Homebrew Beer that he made for the occasion!

At the end of the day, it’s important to remember that a couple who loves each other has fun, even on their wedding day! Jenna and Jesse were more than happy to have us capture their special day and we had such a blast with them both. They were so relaxed and easy going–it was like hanging out with old friends.
